Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. localStorage and sessionStorage work in a similar way: they are browser memory a site can use. They remember settings, a basket or a login, and in advertising and analytics they can also recognise a user.

We checked the live site. Status as of the last update:

• Cookies: the site sets none, neither its own nor third-party.
• localStorage and sessionStorage: the site stores nothing in them. The language comes from the page address (/en, /de), not from a saved setting.
• Fonts: we load them from our own server, without connecting to external font providers.
• Forms (waiting list, returns and complaints): what you type reaches us only after you send the form. The privacy policy describes this. It is not stored in your browser.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. The tool uses no cookies, does not use localStorage and stores nothing in your browser. It does not build user profiles and does not track people across sites.

The script sends Cloudflare the address of the page you visit, where you came from, your browser and device type, your country and page speed data. With each such request Cloudflare also technically receives your device IP address. We only see the results as aggregated statistics.

Purpose: we check which pages are viewed and whether they load fast, so we can improve the site. Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You have the right to object to this processing: write to us or block the script in your browser.

In your browser privacy settings you can delete cookies at any time, block them or turn on warnings when they are saved. Since this site does not use them, you do not need to change anything. You can block the statistics script with an ad and tracking blocker. The site works the same without it.

If we add a tool that stores data in your browser, we will update this page and ask for your consent before anything is stored.

The controller is MANUAL sp. z o.o., ul. Juliana Tuwima 4B, 43-300 Bielsko-Biała, Poland. Send questions to shop@manualbike.com. More about personal data is in the privacy policy.
